Nordstrom Sale Roundup

Now that the buzz of the Nordstrom sale has finally died down a bit, I figured it was time for me to start browsing online to see what was left. It's been kind of overwhelming to see all the stuff on their site in addition to all the #nsale content that was flying around the internet. I'm not a card holder (not sure why, actually) so I didn't have the early access, but I felt like everything was SO fall-driven. I just couldn't get into the idea of shopping for booties and cardigans when 1.) it's still hot as hell in LA and 2.) we barely get cold weather anyway. I feel like I'd be buying a bunch of stuff that would end up sitting in my closet for months and months. I decided to wait a little and take a different, less is more approach to the sale this year. I actually wasn't going to post anything at all, but you guys requested a simple round up via my Instagram poll so I wanted to put something together for you guys. I wasn't thrilled with the clothing selection that was left once the sale went public, so I focused mainly on shoes, accessories and some home/beauty stuff. Here we go!!

Black, comfortable sneakers are a must have in my closet for travel, errands, walking the dog, etc. and these Nike Free TR8 are a steal at only $75! There's also these Nike Air Max Thea sneakers which come in gray and are perfect if you already have some b&w sneaks. If you're looking for something a little less athleisure, the Adidas Gazelle sneaks are super cute in coral/blush or ivory and they're under $70!

The other shoes that I liked were all year-round styles for LA, like these Vince flats. They're a little pricey, but a worthy investment. They come in a few different colors and are available in leather and suede. Another similar pair are these AGL Smoking Slippers. I've been eyeing them for a while and may have to snag a pair now that they're on sale! I love the simple look with the gold detail.

As much as I'm anti-fall clothes right now, I couldn't NOT include these boots. At just under $100 they were too good not to share. I'm actually surprised at how many sizes are left! But who knows how long that will last. They're available in black and taupe - perfect staple colors for fall. Where most good pairs of boots cost around $200, I wouldn't mind getting one of each color. Serious 2-for-the-price-of-1 deal.

Ray Bans has a few different styles on sale, like these aviators. They also have this round style which I really love (I'm partial to the black gradient). I tend to stick to classic styles because trends come and go too quickly. Truth time: the tiny sunglasses that everyone is wearing right now make me cringe so hard. To quote Mindy Kaling: "I think we will regret this tiny sunglasses look." Truer words have never been spoken.

Anyway, moving along...there were't too many handbags that I loved, but this cute little envelope clutch caught my eye. I love the color blocking and the way it's organized inside. Did I mention it's only $30? I am here for it!!!

I've been trying to wear more earrings lately - such a simple way to dress up any outfit. I loved these Bauble Bar tassel earrings, these gold drop earrings by Argento Vivo, and of course this bold take on a classic gold hoop. I have no idea where I would wear these Loren Hope earrings, but come ON only $50 and SO pretty. I can't decide which color I like best! In terms of necklaces, I loved this Gorjana necklace; it's a longer chain so it's good to wear on it's own. This double strand necklace also caught my eye. It's perfect for layering with other longer necklaces. It's definitely an investment piece, but it's available in 14K gold, 14K white gold and 14K rose gold so it's a pretty timeless piece.

I always have to have candles in my house and the Anniversary Sale is always the best time to stock up on some of my favorites. There's this set of three candles or this set of five mini candles by Voluspa that are great to keep on hand for when you have people over. I also love Jo Malone and this set of three has mini versions of some of my favorite scents! This set of two by Nest are full size and is great deal for $52. They smell so good and are so strong-scented, that you can smell them even when they're not burning!

I love this gold wine rack; it would look so pretty sitting out in your kitchen or bar area. This monogrammed wine trough is perfect for keeping your wine/champagne cold. I love this for outdoor entertaining in the summer. It would also make a really great house warming gift! This plush throw would also make such a good gift or a cozy accessory to any room in the house. It's available in a ton of colors and it's only $25! I may or may not have to buy them all haha.

For those of you who struggle with good lighting in your bathroom, this Impressions Vanity makeup mirror/compact mirror duo is great for only $52.

Makeup brushes can get really expensive if you're buying in bulk, especially face ones. This Kabuki Brush Duo by Sigma Beauty is a really good deal for only $33 and will have you pretty much covered for your face makeup application.

I am o b s e s s e d with this Trish McEvoy perfume but have been waiting to finish one full size perfume at home before buying this one as a replacement. Normally a 1.7oz will cost $90, but with this fragrance duo set you get a 3.4oz bottle and a 0.2oz travel spray for $140 which is pretty good. Honestly, once you smell it you'll realize how worth it this duo is. I love love love it.

You guys may recall me talking about my Slip pillowcase and how much I love it. There's a deal for a matching set of two in ivory for a little over $100. I currently have one pink one on my otherwise gray and white bed and it drives me nuts. I'm thinking I need to get this set for my husband and I. One for each of us AND it'll match. Win win!

I hope you guys found this little round up helpful and end up getting some goodies! Thanks as always for following along and supporting A Little Indiaa. You guys are the best!!
