My 30th Birthday

My 30th Birthday

It’s been a little over a month since my birthday and as many of you know, this year was the big 3-0 for me. I’ve had mixed feelings about turning thirty over the last year but I never really dreaded it. Is that weird? I feel like as soon as people turn 30, they start freaking out, but I was actually REALLY excited to turn thirty haha. I see my 30’s as having all the perks of my 20’s, but with more independence and knowledge, and less financial stress. So like….get to the bad part, right? You’re presumably supposed to be more put together and a “real adult” once you’re out of your twenties, and while I may not have it all together, I’ve got life figured out much better than I did ten years ago. I think 30 is going to be the year that I thrive and I’m very excited for it. Despite my excitement however, I didn’t really put much thought into celebrating. I was just planning to grab drinks with my girls and have date night with my husband, but little did I know my sisters were planning the most perfect evening for me! It was filled with all my favorites: pink flowers, truffle fries, Chanel themed cocktails and of course, my (almost entire) crew of amazing people. It was the perfect little evening gathering with tons of good food, cocktails and company. We also had the most gorgeous LA sunset as a backdrop. It was perfect. I’m so, so happy my girl Laura was there to capture the whole evening and all the sweet details. Not only is it the perfect keepsake to look back on, but I can share them all with you guys too!
