Fall Trend: Animal Print

I’m not really one to dive head first into every single trend that comes my way. I feel like things come in and out of style so fast these days, it’s honestly just hard to keep up. There are a number of trends I just couldn’t get on board with this year (i.e. tiny sunglasses and dad sneakers), but I loooovve me a good animal print. I tend to stick to dark, solid colors for my wardrobe (my black clothes take up about half of my top hanging rack in my closet haha), but I’ve never been able to resist a good snakeskin or leopard print. You can always find animal print options no matter the time of year, but I feel like finding one that is good quality with a really luxurious look is a little trickier. There’s nothing worse than a cheesy animal print and looking like you came straight out of a Cheetah Girls movie. My go-to for good prints is Zara. They always nail it with their animal print - the pattern always looks authentic and the fabrics are always high quality. Apart from this blazer, they had a TON of good options. This leopard button down is a classic that every girl should have in her closet. There’s also a snakeskin version in a body suit that is just as good. I love this colorful take on a classic print, and this slighter more casual, flirty version. If I had to choose just one skirt, it would definitely be this pleated snakeskin one. For outerwear, I would recommend this classic leopard print coat or this animal print knit. If you’re looking for a pop of print rather than a statement piece, you could add some pattern to your shoes. Zara is stocked with ankle boots, heels and loafers…so you’re covered for all occasions. If you want to go even more subtle, this belt bag or this crossbody are the perfect fall accessories. To shop all the animal print Zara has to offer, just click here! I shot this look back when it was still up in the 80s and 90s, but I’m getting verrrry excited to throw on a black turtle neck and some booties with this gorgeous number!
