Travel Diaries: Roma

I feel like I've spent the last couple months endlessly sorting through pictures. Engagement pictures, graduation pictures, birthday pictures, wedding pictures, honeymoon pictures....the list never ends. I'm slowly getting organized and have been re-living our amazing honeymoon in Italy, and couldn't resist sharing with you guys some of my favorite shots + travel style while we were there!

Don't mind my crooked photography. It was so tall I could barely get the whole thing in the frame!

One of my favorite days was spent touring the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The entire city is entrenched in so much history, but nothing paints a true picture of the Roman Empire like the Colosseum. It's sheer size is appalling, especially considering there was no modern technology or machinery used to build it. The Forum and Palatine Hill were no less, not to mention all three were covered almost entirely in gold and marble from all over the world. It was absolutely unbelievable. As much as I'd love to give you a history lesson (I dig history, can you tell?), I think you should check it out for yourself!! We did a lot of walking through the streets of Rome, so comfy attire was absolutely necessary. The rest of the day (and trip) was spent exploring, picture taking and eating our weight in pasta, wine and gelato!

I'll be posting more pics from our trip as I get through more pictures :) Enjoy loves!
